The first public release of FourC’s OEM MaaS real-time app is now available for the citizens of +CityxChange’s Lighthouse City Trondheim, as well as Trøndelag county. Branded as Mobee by Trondheim municipality, the app shows all mobility options for users at their location in real-time.
In order to achieve climate change goals, reduce fossil-based energy usage, and improve city living conditions, shared and dynamic mobility solutions are essential. However, acquiring a good overview of these mobility offers from all suppliers is not easy. The new app will make this task a lot simpler, in addition to helping the various mobility providers to make their offers known to a larger audience.
The app can be accessed and downloaded on Android and GooglePlay, and is set to be released for iPhone in winter 2022.
During the remaining 2 years of the +CityxChange project, new features like bus and scooter ticketing, and proof-of-location (using the IOTA distributed ledger technology) is in the pipeline, in addition to features requested by users.
