The Smart Cities Marketplace offers masterclasses aiming to bridge the ‘Shape’ and ‘Deal’ phases, focusing on the financial aspects. These classes provide knowledge for improving the maturity of a project idea from the point of view of its value-for-money, affordability, and bankability assessments.
The masterclass is targeted at representatives of city administrations and sustainable urban project developers. It is a highly interactive event in which the participants' projects play a central role.
Participants shall provide information on their project before the masterclass starts to promote learning from each other and the invited presenters. Successful sustainable urban projects from other cities will be presented and analysed, as well as insights on how to build bankable projects from investors' points of view.
