The Smart Cities Marketplace invites you to participate in the European Commission's joint stand at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2025, which will take place from 4 to 6 November 2025 in Barcelona. This is a unique opportunity for EU-funded projects and initiatives to showcase their work, engage with key urban innovation stakeholders, and gain European and global visibility.
Following the success of previous years, the 2025 edition will once again feature a 120 m² EC-branded stand, providing a vibrant, collaborative space for selected partners. Projects participating in the stand will benefit from high-impact visibility, networking opportunities, and access to a wide audience of smart city actors.
Key Benefits of Participation
- Inclusion of your initiative within one official conference session (formerly known as Agora sessions)
- The opportunity to organise a dedicated booth session at the EC stand
- An individually branded area for your project within the stand
- Access to a matchmaking and networking area, available when not in use for official events
- Three meeting rooms onsite for partner use (allocated on a first-come, first-served basis)
- 5–10 Expo & Congress passes for your team and stakeholders
- The option to propose high-level speakers for the Congress via a curated EC shortlist
- Enhanced visual presence of your project logo and identity at the stand and through online materials
- Collaborative promotion through official SCEWC channels and the Smart Cities Marketplace network
The estimated participation cost is approximately €4,000 per partner, with the final amount depending on the total number of participants and stand costs.
