
The support service for Citizen-led renovation offers comprehensive support to established and prospective energy communities, enabling them to drive energy renovations and renewable installations in residential buildings. The service addresses financial, legal, technical, and information barriers, facilitating the creation of future-proof residential spaces.
Who Can Participate?
The call targets energy communities, citizen groups, local authorities, NGOs, and other organisations actively involved or interested in spearheading citizen-led renovation projects. Whether an established energy community or a prospective one, all are encouraged to apply.
Your Role: Pilot, Learner, or Follower
Participants can choose from three pathways:
- Pilots: Established energy communities receive support in project development, implementation, and replication.
- Learners: Emerging energy communities or those in the planning phase are guided in capacity development for initiating and managing renovation projects.
- Followers: Individuals and organizations interested in exploring the concept of energy communities/citizen-led renovation receive insights, learning materials, and networking opportunities.
