The Scalable Cities Community and other European climate neutral projects and initiatives funded by the European Commission will have the opportunity to attend engaging networking and clustering events centered around key topics such as scaling up, replication, business models and financing, energy communities, Positive Energy Districts (PEDs), citizen engagement, digital twins or the AI.
These events will foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and practical insights to accelerate transition to climate neutrality.
Below is a list of selected events of 2025 where cities, experts, and stakeholders can connect, share experiences, and push forward scalable solutions for climate neutral cities.
Energy Cities Annual Forum
The city of Besançon will host Energy Cities' annual forum on April 8-10, 2025, marking the organization’s 35th anniversary. Under the theme “Weaving Connections,” the third Grafting Cities conference will showcase how member cities are implementing sustainable solutions to drive change, build resilience, and foster thriving communities. The event will provide a platform for municipalities to exchange experiences, forge new connections, and advance the transition toward climate neutrality through collaboration, networking, and shared best practices. ChangeNOW Conference
ChangeNOW 2025 is set to take place from April 24 to 26, 2025, at the Grand Palais in Paris. Marking the midpoint of the critical 2020-2030 decade for climate action and commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, this event will present over a thousand groundbreaking solutions and leaders to accelerate the transition toward a sustainable world. Cities Mission Conference
The fourth edition of the Cities Mission Conference 2025 will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania on May 6-8, 2025. The EU Green Capital 2025 will welcome invitation-only attendees to the event. Organised by the European Commission and the Mission Platform, the conference will bring together political representatives and practitioners from the 112 Mission Cities to celebrate the Mission’s considerable progress after three years, share achievements and experiences, and inspire all those as they continue their hard work towards climate neutrality. EM-Power Europe
EM-Power Europe 2025 is the leading international exhibition for energy management and integrated energy solutions. Under the theme "Empowering Grids and Prosumers," it provides a platform for grid operators, utility companies, municipal utilities, project developers, installers, energy consultants, managers, and service providers to explore the latest advancements in the energy sector.
EM-Power Europe 2025 will take place from May 7–9, 2025, at Messe München, as part of The smarter E Europe, the largest European innovation alliance of exhibtions for the energy industry.

European Sustainable Energy Week
The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2025 will take place in June 10–12, 2025 in a hybrid format, both in Brussels and online. This 19th edition, themed "Powering a fair and competitive green transition," will feature a high-level Policy Conference, the EUSEW Awards, and the sixth European Youth Energy Day, along with networking opportunities at the Energy Fair.
