Cohesion for Transitions (C4T) Community of Practice

The C4T Community of Practice is a community-based platform that aims to support EU Member States and regions to make better use of EU funds for sustainability transitions. 

The calls for C4T Working Groups and the Groundwork technical assistance are now open. 

As a quick reminder, Working groups are an opportunity for public authorities to collaborate with peers across EU Member States in the C4T Working Groups on Climate, Energy, and Environment.

  • Exchange best practices and tackle shared challenges
  • Co-develop solutions through toolkits, guidelines, and actions
  • Engage with the European Commission and leading experts
  • Expand your network and contribute to sustainability transitions
  • Participate in field trips to see projects in action

C4T Groundwork is a technical assistance focusing  on key thematic areas under PO2, including: 

  • energy efficiency – supporting enterprises, production processes and energy-efficient buildings 
  • renewable energy – expanding production and distribution, including renewable energy communities 
  • climate adaptation – strengthening disaster risk prevention and resilience
  • smart energy grids – advancing energy storage and infrastructure
  • water management – improving drinking water supply and wastewater treatment
  • circular economy – enhancing waste management and recycling 
  • nature and biodiversity – protecting Natura 2000 sites, reducing pollution and enhancing nature-based solutions. 

Support services include developing strategies, improving monitoring, engaging stakeholders, identifying funding opportunities, supporting call preparation, and building capacity for sustainability transitions.
