BIPED
The EU has an ambitious goal to reach 100 positive energy districts by 2025. These would be urban areas with a net-positive annual energy balance. Many cities have started working towards PEDs as part of the wider energy transition towards climate neutrality. However, despite all this effort, a comprehensive, unified PED framework is still lacking. In this episode, BIPIED explores ways to improve the robustness of the PED paradigm by addressing its conceptual and methodological limitations. Our guest is Ali Hainoun, a senior scientist at the Austrian Institute of Technology.
