Energy Cities Annual Forum in Modena, Italy, on 18-20 October

City of Modena

Energy Cities is excited to announce that the next session will take place in person during the Energy Cities Annual Forum in Modena, Italy, on 18-20 October

The Energy Cities Annual Forum gathers many cities from across Europe and offers a rich agenda. This will be a unique session co-organised with projects ASCEND, Cities4PEDs and the Affordable Housing Initiative.

Session: “Propagating City Renewal at District Level: which methods to use?”

Wednesday October 18th, 09h30-12h00.

A hands-on workshop using the Cities4PEDs methodology for facilitating PED development in the local context. We will have the participation of quite a few cities working on PEDs projects - a great opportunity to exchange with peers and highlight your own learnings from SCC projects.

Objective: to bring together various projects/organisations working with district level approaches for energy transition and highlight the various building blocks (pieces of the puzzle) one needs to consider when scaling up to district level. This will be done through palying-out a facilitation game with a fictional district in focus.

Format: a workshop using a methodology designed in Cities4PEDs, a PED toolkitThe publication of the toolkit is planned for September.

Of course, you are more than welcome to join the whole event, not only this session. We have a rich agenda (also lots of study visits and activities around Modena!) Attached you will find a letter with more details on the event, including the draft programme and registration link

If you represent an ended SCC project, you are eligible for travel support! Apply HERE.
