On the European journey towards climate-neutrality, several initiatives are cooperating to develop an integrated definition and framework for Positive Energy Districts. Neighbourhoods that generate more energy than they consume, and that are inclusive, resilient, sustainable and beautiful, will be important stepping stones towards achieving the Horizon Europe Mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities.
During this session, we present the draft expert report compiled by the initiatives and discuss it with the audience. The results of the session will be integrated in the draft report to inform national consultations in the coming months.
