The info session "From idea to action: Tailored support to bring your city’s vision to life" will guide participants from the basics of the joint Smart Cities Marketplace and Covenant of Mayors campaign on Technical Assistance to actionable steps, showcase examples of technical assistance, and provide an open space for questions.

We are joining forces with the Covenant of Mayors to help municipalities with a clear project idea to overcome the barriers to implementation by offering 20 days of free tailored expert support. For more details on the technical assistance, click here.
Over 45 minutes, this info session will provide participants with an overview of the offered support, explain the process for application and offer the opportunity to address any questions or clarifications from participating cities. Representatives from the EU Covenant of Mayors and the Smart Cities Marketplace will guide the event, digging into the wide range of support provided (legal, financial, governance, and technical) and sharing some examples of support already delivered and being at the disposal for supporting interested parties in the process.
Technical assistance is limited to the EU Covenant of Mayors signatories. Signatories to the covenant covered by other regional offices (Covenant East, Balkans, Turkey) won’t be considered. Small and medium-sized cities and towns are particularly encouraged to apply.
