The Smart Cities Marketplace offers masterclasses aiming to bridge the ‘Shape’ and ‘Deal’ phases focusing on the financial aspects of mainly energy projects, by providing knowledge for improving the maturity of a project idea from the point of view of its value-for-money, affordability, and bankability assessments.
The masterclass is targeted at representatives of city administrations and smart city project developers and is a highly interactive event in which the projects from the participants play a central role. Please note that the masterclass is a two-day event.
Participants shall provide information on their project before the masterclass starts to promote learning from each other as well as from the invited presenters. Successful smart city projects from other cities are presented and analysed as well as insights on how to build bankable projects from investors' points of view.
