The main goal of the Citizen’s Control of Personal Data initiative, launched in January 2021, is to help remove existing barriers, so that citizens can control and share their own personal data, helping themselves, society and the wider data economy, within the context of smart cities.
Beginning on February 25th, regular workshops will be held to shape the initiative in the early stages. The involved actors - among other the instigating project DataVaults and KRAKEN, RUGGEDISED, BDVA, i3Market, GLASS - want to encourage with this workshop series the widest possible participation, both within the core activity of “citizen’s control” and the wider Data Economy which will benefit.
