The Urban-Air-Mobility-Initiative Ingolstadt, Germany, receives 100M € governmental funding

Building upon the decision of the Bavarian Council of Ministers this Monday, the Urban-Air-Mobility-Initiative (UAM) in Ingolstadt will receive 100M euros funding. This is a strong signal for the region of Ingolstadt, states Lord Mayor of the city Christian Scharpf.

A year ago, Bavaria started a nationwide unique technology offensive with the Hightech Agenda (HTA) and is funding the development of the latest technologies with two billion euros. The Air Mobility Initiative in the Ingolstadt area is part of the Hightech Agenda. For this initiative 15M euros will be made available in the coming year, 25M euros in 2022 and a further 60M euros in the following years.
