Electrifying bus fleets is a crucial step toward reducing CO₂ emissions, but there is still much more to do. Cities must also focus on energy and resource efficiency to maximise impact. Optimising bus routes, selecting the right technology, implementing smart charging strategies, and improving procurement processes are key measures for sustainable public transport. The Interreg Euro-Med E-MED project gathers insights to support cities in these areas and invites public transport authorities and operators to share their experiences through a survey. Your input will help shape guidelines for optimised electric bus fleet operations.
