Support new guidance on public procurement for sustainable infrastructure projects

Bridge

Are you procuring, funding or supplying public infrastructure? Then you can help develop guidance on public procurement for sustainable infrastructure projects!

Use 10 minutes to fill in the survey on challenges and successes in developing sustainable public infrastructure projects at: https://s.chkmkt.com/?e=241769&h=F27CFE9E3960707&l=e

This survey aims to enable relevant stakeholders to provide feedback and suggestions in order to develop guidance to facilitate procuring and implementing sustainable public infrastructure projects. In particular, feedback is sought on the following elements:

  1. Barriers and challenges in the full life-cycle of sustainable public infrastructure projects
  2. Success factors and solutions in addressing these barriers and challenges.

The project, implemented by Technopolis Group with a consortium of partners composed of ICLEI, WAAT, and COWI on behalf of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW),  is looking for your inputs in the context of the Research and Knowledge building on sustainable infrastructure projects through stakeholder engagement.

The purpose of the project is to help make public infrastructure projects more sustainable through public procurement. Stakeholder inputs will feed into the design of a draft Guidance that will advise stakeholders on the full life-cycle of infrastructure projects, also providing examples of good practice from the public procurement and the supply-chain side.
