The European Commission, DG ENER has appointed Valdani Vicari & Associati (VVA) and Grimaldi Studio Legale to undertake a study on investigating the benefits of aligning EU Consumer Protection and information rules in the gas and electricity sector.

The overall objective of the study is to evaluate the EU legal framework for consumer protection and information in the gas and DHC sectors and, where shortcomings are identified, assess the impacts of (partially) aligning the provisions for gas and DHC with those of the 2019 Electricity Directive. In this context, Valdani Vicari & Associati (VVA) and Grimaldi Studio Legale have launched an online survey to collect inputs from stakeholders.

The survey is available in English, French and German, it lasts approx. 20 minutes and it also gives the opportunity to upload any position paper/document you would like to share.

Please note that the study team is required to treat all information in confidence. For more information about VVA’s privacy policy, please consult the following link
