The ASCEND project organised its second general assembly in Munich between 6 and 8 March 2024. The main goal of the event was to provide oversight of the project's roadmap, activities, scope of work and most importantly the shared ambition to accelerate Positive Clean Energy Districts (PCEDs) as a cornerstone of sustainable urban development across cities in Europe. The general assembly showcased a dynamic agenda filled with meetings, plenary sessions, and networking opportunities. Participants delved into project highlights, shared experiences, and explored innovative solutions during interactive sessions such as world cafés, workshops and solution packages discussions. Moreover, attendees enjoyed a site visit to the PCED demonstration district in Harthof and the Domagk Park, experiencing firsthand insights into innovative urban sustainability measures that are being taken by the City of Munich and Munich citizens.
