Webinar: Solutions for Low Noise Road Surfaces

The European Commission in the Zero Pollution Action Plan called for a 30% reduction in people chronically disturbed by transport noise. In the Report to the European Parliament and the Council, the Commission then explained that this will be possible by, among other things, ‘the introduction of quiet surfaces whenever a busy road is repaved, making use of the Green Public Procurement guidelines’.

The Commission is therefore promoting a webinar to explain to local authorities, in simple and practical terms, what the possibilities are to use low-noise road surfaces, thanks to several past EU-funded projects and solutions engineered.
