“Instrument to support cooperation between local governments and investors: the offer of the Smart Cities Marketplace” (local workshop).
On 19 March 2024, the Smart Cities Marketplace will be at the Polish Climate Congress. The workshop "Instrument for supporting cooperation between local governments and investors: the Smart Cities Marketplace offer" (13:45-15:15 CET), is the first such event organised in Poland, during which Polish local governments will learn about our offer of free support.
We will explain what type of free support is available to local governments and how to apply. The meeting will be held in Polish.
The Polish Climate Congress is a meeting of experts and professionals on climate and environmental protection. This is the only business conference that covers the topics so comprehensively, covering almost all sectors. The Congress aims to create a platform for establishing cooperation and business-institutional partnerships to accelerate the green transformation. The agenda of the Polish Climate Congress includes two days of debates on the most current issues related to the operational management of the green transformation.
Local governments looking for new development opportunities can obtain free support through the Smart Cities Marketplace. The Smart Cities Market is an initiative financed by the European Commission that brings together local governments, industry, small and medium-sized enterprises and investors to implement projects in the area of sustainable development and inclusiveness, responding to contemporary climate and social challenges. The initiative offers cities, municipalities and their associations free legal, technical, financial and administrative support at the stage of project preparation and seeking financing - from concept, through planning, to financing.
Sylwia Słomiak, an expert in projects and partnerships in the energy and climate sector, will lead the workshop.
