European Innovation Council
We are glad to inform you that the 2024 edition of the European Capital of Innovation Awards (iCapital) is open for submissions.
- What is this prize about? A recognition of those cities that use innovation to improve their citizens’ lives.
- Who can apply? Cities with a minimum of 50,000 inhabitants from EU Member States and countries associated to Horizon Europe.
- What are the awards? The winner of the 2024 European Capital of Innovation category will receive €1 million. Moreover, the first two runners-up in this category will be rewarded with € 100,000 each. In the Rising Innovative City category, the winner will be rewarded with €500 000 accompanied by two runners-ups who will receive €50 000 each.
- Deadline to apply: 18th June (17:00:00)
