The charge point installation at Duke Street car park supports current EV drivers in the city as well as encouraging other car users to switch to electric, and will enable taxi companies in the city to switch to using electric vehicles, facilitating Scotland\u2019s phase out of new petrol and diesel cars by 2032. The charging infrastructure is funded by Transport Scotland and RUGGEDISED with the innovative connection to renewables and storage.
