Description
The Hofburg Innsbruck, a 5-storey building with a total floor space of 26,300 m² and a total cubic volume of around 110,000 m³, counts with Schönbrunn Palace and the Vienna Hofburg to the three culturally important buildings in Austria, as a cadastral prepared by the Federal Monuments Office points out. The building has 10 offices and 4 public services (e.g. Tyrolean educational institution, media centre for Tyrol, Federal Forest Research Centre), the Museum Café (Café Sacher in Innsbruck), the imperial apartments (museum, about 2,150 m²) and various banquet facilities.
