Changement climatique et transition énergétique: Dialoguons!

At the end of April, the European Commission, in collaboration with the City of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, the “Maison du Développement Durable” and with support of the SCIS (Smart Cities Information System), organised a participatory dialogue on the topic of climate/energy in the “Lycée Martin V” in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve. Leading questions for the Citizens Dialogue where: What are our concerns about climate change? And what specific energy measures can we propose to protect the planet?

The aim of this evening was to come up with ideas for actions to help protect the climate at individual, local and European levels.

The report (in English and French versions) was produced in partnership with SCIS and presents the ideas of the over 90 participants, mainly citizens, but also Mayor Julie Chantry, six municipal representatives representing the 5 political groups present in the Communal Council and a dozen representatives of the European Commission.
