We are two weeks away from the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) taking place in Brussels between 13 and 17 June. The event involves a month-long series of activities to build a secure energy future for Europe. It brings together public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers to promote initiatives to save energy and move towards renewables for clean, secure and efficient power.
Launched in 2006 by the European Commission, the EUSEW is organised by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) in close cooperation with Directorate-General for Energy.
Conference
The high point of EUSEW is the annual Policy Conference featuring leading figures and a diverse programme of sessions and side-events aimed at discussing and shaping Europe’s energy future.
Networking Village
The Networking Village hosts exhibitions, presentations, a Speakers’ Corner and one-to-one meetings. It is a key feature of the Policy Conference – a place for the EUSEW Community to exchange ideas.
Awards
Awards for energy-saving initiatives are presented during the Policy Conference. These recognise outstanding innovation and increase projects’ visibility.
Energy Days
Organised across Europe by public and private organisations, Energy Days encourage citizens and stakeholders to discover and debate the major issues driving the transition to sustainable energy.
