Inspired by the traditional holiday wish-list, here is what we will strive to bring to the smart cities community in 2016:
- Ensure a working database filled with data;
- Visit project sites and meet with project teams to discuss how to make SCIS even better;
- Encourage projects to submit as much data and as many results as possible;
- Gather more input from cities, urban planners, architects, and other experts with valuable experience in the creation of smart energy-efficient cities;
- Develop an interesting and useful visualisation of KPIs;
- Ensure consistency with recent developments in other initiatives;
- Enrich the Project section on the website with useful guidelines, roadmaps and tools developed by the projects ;
- Finalise the Policy Analysis section on the website (to be launched early next year) to make it relevant, practical and useful for users, offering solutions in line with their needs and interests;
- Visualise the necessary conditions for replication of a project in another city in the most beneficial way;
- Provide information on financing.
