The Smart Cities Marketplace is a major market-changing undertaking supported by the European Commission, bringing together cities, industries, SMEs, investors, researchers and other smart city actors.
In this exhibitors' pitch an overall understanding of the matchmaking process and the principles of the Smart Cities Marketplace will be provided.
The matchmaking process is divided into three strands that will be further introduced by experts from the Smart Cities Marketplace Team:
1. Explore: includes a presentation of the Database of Smart City Solutions, quantitative and qualitative information on proven and tested solutions as well as access to knowledgeable experts.
2. Shape: introduction to Pan-European action cluster working groups and initiatives, regular workshops and webinars as well as support in developing an investment proposal for smart city solutions.
3. Deal: matchmaking events with investors, open calls for proposals that are ready to match, guidance on how to create bankable investment proposals.
